DISNEY!!! We just got back from a wonderful trip to Disneyland. We decided on a trip for Christmas this year since we already have too much "stuff". We wanted to enjoy the Christmas decor and rides, yet avoid as many crowds as possible, so we went before Christmas.We talked about President Monson's Talk on Enjoying the Journey for Family Home Evening on December 1st, then told them we were going to do Christmas a bit different this year. We had them open their present from us early. They were quite confused to find Disneyland shirts until we asked them where it would be fun to wear them. Jacob was especially thrilled!
Micah was so excited he couldn't even open his eyes!!We all had such a great time. We went with my brother Brian and his family. Most of what I remembered about Disneyland was the long lines (Phil too), but we were just as excited about all of the rides as the boys were, and the crowds were manageable. Jacob and Benjamin even got to fight Darth Vader! Here are some of my favorite pictures:

I forgot you were going. Looks like you had a great time. That is our favorite time to go. Christmas dec'd out and not so busy. You're boys look like they had a great time. Did you love the snow on Main Street. It truly is a magical place.
I'm so glad you guys had a fun time and the crowds weren't too bad for you. You already know it's our favorite place. Maybe someday we'll manage to get our families there at the same time!

We moved to Indiana the summer of 2006. We'll probably be here another few years, with Travis working on his post-doc. It's a good little town, but I miss the warm weather in winter.

How awesome. I, of course, am hoping to keep my kids from Disney-mania and their crazy marketing schemes--but I know that's pretty futile. Besides, you guys look like you had so much fun! I just can't believe how big your boys are. Time flies.
You are on the ball! I don't know when I'll get around to posting about our trip. I'm just trying to catch up on sleep, and keeping my feet up after walking so much. Shayla thinks we always need to go with cousins now, so how's next year looking? Thanks for going with us. It was great fun!

It looks like you had a lot of fun. We just went to DisneyWorld in November and had a lot of fun, although I think we go more for me than my kids. I have been stalking your blog for a little while and thought I better say hi.
