We just got back from a great trip to Disneyland and Legoland. Despite the rain, we were able to have a wonderful time. We went with my brother and his family. They brought the girls, we brought the boys and donned in ponchos and saran wrapped feet (our makeshift galoshes) we set out to tackle the lineless, sopping wet park. Here's some of our fun:
Who knew Phil would do happy jacks going to disneyland??!! Yeah!
We surprised the boys. Once they saw their cousins at the airport, they had a pretty good idea where we were going.
This is before the trip!!
The boys earned part of the trip by volunteering for Give a day. Get a Disney Day. We were so proud of them.
The lines were so small we even waited to see Mickey this year!
It was actually quite fun to see everyone walking around in ponchos. But Micah was very glad to get rid of his.

Despite the rain, bonds were made,
the force was with us,
we laughed (Ben kept licking his brothers' rain coats...I guess he was thristy but it was dang cute...the kids were pretty resilient in the rain),
we cried (ok, so just me when we left. I get so sad when it's all over),

we're stronger than ever,
and ready to take on the world again!

I didn't get many great shots from Legoland, but the boys were in heaven.
Look! Blue sky!!

For me, a vacation is being able to take a break from all the little things in life that are distracting and being able to just focus on spending time with my family, and if you get to do it at Disneyland, all the better!!! I'm grateful we had a chance to do this and hopefully make some great memories for our boys. Thanks Bri and Lynette, we had a great time!
