Oh my word, this has happened to me before. Here's what I did. Went in and relooked for the $$$, it had somehow slipped out from under the pillow and under his bed. Must have been his sleeping, he never knew any different.
You are not alone in this. I'm sure you'll hear several stories.
tee-hee hee!!! I love it, Jennie!
We do it too sometimes. We just tell our kids that a lot of kids lost their teeth last night, so maybe tonight the tooth fairy will get to them. I've even "called" the tooth fairy hotline to make sure that they are on the "list".
That only works a couple of times, at least with my kids, then they know that mom and dad just forgot. :) Luckily, they have been forgiving so far.
I was a tooth fairy once in a road show. Does that count as experience?
Happened to me too. Tried to cover it up. Tried what Tammy did. Finally had to come clean. Oh well. I've got 2 other kids.
