Spring Break

Yes, I did say "Spring" break! We started off the week by enjoying another round of snow. I was happy to be able to take the boys sledding one more time, but let's hope it's ONE more time! We had great fun at the park as well. Spring in Utah!

We obviously needed a little sunshine, so we headed south to Arches National Park. We had a wonderful time exploring the amazing creations of this world. I'll let Benjamin's journal do some of the narrating for this one.

This is Park Avenue. The boys enjoyed exploring the new terrain.

We named this one Dolphin Arch. Do you see it?

The boys were excited about seeing the famous Delicate Arch, but we opted to keep Micah somewhat happy and see it from a Distance.

One of our favorites was Sand Dune Arch. Here are some of our fun pictures we took there:

(my personal favorite)The boys were in heaven in all that fine, red sand.

After pizza, pool and pie, we had a good night's sleep and headed out again Friday morning. A bit more crowded, but still enjoyable.

We ended our trip at Dead Horse Point State Park. As you can see, we were a bit anxious as the boys ran around jumping from rock to rock...yikes!! It was perfectly safe, but being parents does things to you!
Gulp!!

We had a great trip. The boys did super in the car. We listened to Harry Potter 2 and took in the scenery. Can't wait til next time!! We'll just have to remember the password:

What a fun Spring Break! I am a little ashamed to say I am from Utah and never been to Arches. Looks awesome!

Looks like a blast. You didn't say anything about a hotel to me. I might be able to do one of those kind of trips with you.
