Christmas has once again come and gone. I guess that is a good reminder that it will be back again relatively soon. We had a great holiday season.
Stevens Family Dinner and a fun evening with conversation, good food and Bell ringing!
Gingerbread Houses/Pirate Ships
So glad to keep the tradition alive with some of our favorite people!
Ben hit up a couple of gigs with his dad and Uncle Brian. I'm a proud mama watching and seeing that Smith Music in his blood!
He also performed in our Stake Prelude to Christmas. Phil and I were able to sing as well and it is one of my favorite things about the season!
We got to go to the Tab Choir Concert
and sing Christmas Carols with a whole lot of other Utahns. A new tradition this year!
My little preschoolers were adorable at their programs!
Baird Family Party Talent show
and Nativity. I love that the older kids participated!
Ogden Christmas Village
My favorite little shop!
My Favorite Boys
Christmas Eve with the Bairds. We announced our travel plans for Italy for Spring Break and celebrated with an Italian cake (that no one ate!)
Christmas morning
Ben got a tablet, Jacob basketball shoes and Micah a robot that will make his appearance later
I loved that these boys popped their heads into our door at 7:30 asking to borrow a shovel so they could shovel our driveway for us. They are a highlight of our world.
After a treacherous drive in the snow to Idaho Christmas night, then another crazy ride to Yellowstone, we made it for our Snow Coach adventure. One of my favorite holiday memories was driving up on the way to Yellowstone with beautiful, snowy trees surrounding us, all of us singing the Moana soundtrack. Classic!
Is that an elk back there?
Loads of Bisen
Yep, my favorite tree!
Love this picture of freezing Ben!
We are funny!
We had a great time!
Meet Micah's friend Meccanoid (or as I call him Micahnoid). He built him, mostly by himself this holiday season and has enjoyed playing with him and programming him as well. Perfect gift Santa! Way to go!
Phil and I bough these cross country skiis at Utah State 18 years ago, hauled them around the US and finally they got use on Friday, by Jacob!! So glad we kept them because he and I had a lovely little ski trip at a local park. Snow is beautiful when you don't have to drive in it!
And a Happy Pie Face to you!
Sure enjoyed this holiday season and realizing how much we have been blessed throughout the year. It's been a good one. Looking forward to 2017!!
