Spring Break

Except for all the coughing around our house (why do we wait until spring shows up to get sick!?), we had a fun spring break last week.  We started out by heading to a MLB game!  We got tickets for Christmas to go see the Mariners and Rockies play at the Bees Stadium.  It was a gorgeous day and fun to see all the homeruns going on! The Rockies' mascot came to our school that Friday, so that made it even more fun!

We got up Monday morning and went out for breakfast, then headed off hoping that the rain wouldn't be a problem as we went camping in Capitol Reef.  It was beautiful.  The apricot trees were in blossom and the red rock made such an interesting, fun background.
We did a little hiking, climbing, hot dog roasting and strolling...I even enjoyed a short jog in what was one of the prettiest places I have ever run!
I love these two pictures!

We saw a bunch of mule deer hiking as well...Ben thought they were so cute, he wanted to hold them in his hand!
 Can you spot the petroglyphs?
 Very cool!
We made it through a windy night, and it started to rain as we left...perfect!!  Love these trips with the boys.  We also enjoyed some fun with the cousins at the end of the week.  A great week!
