It's about time!

A month ago, we were in the beautiful land of Europe and I have yet to record what a great trip we had!!  My brother and his wife were heading over to visit some friends in Germany and we felt like they could really use some company...we're sweet like that!  So the long awaited trip finally came and went.  We hit 5 countries: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg (just to say we did!).  We enjoyed them all, but Belgium and Netherlands were probably my favorites.  We're grateful that we've been able to get a taste of this beautiful world and the people in it!

Day 1 - Paris: The Metro, Louvre, Escargot, Arch de Triomphe & Glimpses of La Tour Eiffel!

Day 2 - Rue de Cler, Notre Dame Roof Tour, Musee d'Orsay, Sacre Coeur & Montmartre, walking 1,000,000 steps

Day 3 - Extremely Crowded Metro (my sister in laws feet weren't touching the ground:), beautiful ride in the country side (could never get a picture of those cows!), Belgium, Brussels, people waiting for Barack Obama, Closed music museum (thanks Barack!), Beautiful Brugges and a B&B

Day 4- Divine Breakfast, morning in Beautiful Brugges, Chocolates!!, Drive to Netherlands, Biking in Kinderdijk (YEAH WINDMILLS! sorry got a little camera happy when the sun came out on our overcast day and we had a wonderful time!), drive to Maastricht for our stay in a castle!
Day 5 - Only American Cemetery in Netherlands (very touching!) Aachen (loved this little town and especially the duners!), Frankfurt

Day 6 - Heidelberg, Castle, Philospher's walk
Day 7 - Day of rest!  Only drove through 4 countries and looked for an hour for a gas station before returning the car! A short stop in Luxembourg
Final Day - Paris, shopping, Tuileries, museums, boat tour and lots of Tour de Eiffel
A truly magnificent trip!  Thanks Brian and Lynette for letting us tag along!!!
