A Happy People

Last night, with several other members of our ward and stake, I headed up to the temple at 9:30 to clean until midnight. As we sat in the chapel in our little cleaning jumpsuits, I noticed something. Everyone was smiling. What a strange thing! How could all of these people be happy to be vacuuming already clean floors and dusting so that dust won't arrive? Well it's quite simple really. We were in the Lord's House participating in a tiny part of the big picture: eternity. I'm grateful to be a member of such a great organization. Though we all have our own unique challenges and struggles, we are One in trying to do our best and to be where we're supposed to as much as possible. Our love of the Lord and desire to do His will unites us and brings smiles to our faces as we serve Him together. I love associating with such a great people. Happy are we, Happy are we...
