St. George

We hit sunny, beautiful St. George this weekend to spend time as a family at the ballpark for 10+ hours!  Jacob had a baseball tournament so we took advantage of a great vacation spot.  We got to attend his first band concert Thursday night (go trumpets!)
So we left late and arrived much later.  I woke up Friday morning to go on a little jog.  So glad I did.  It was beautiful.  This was my first view:
And it stayed beautiful the whole run!!  Even my lousy knee couldn't get me down!!

That is why I run. What a great way to see a city!!

After I got back, we got ready and checked out Pioneer park with a teammate and friends of ours.
Love the red rock and blue sky!!

The rest of the weekend involved a lot of baseball and baseball buddies.  The Bandidos, for a first year team, did a great job.  They got off to a bit of a rocky start with a new field and tournament play etc, but by Saturday had settled down and played very well.
Saturday we got to do my favorite thing, watch Jacob pitch in a beautiful environment!  Nice back drop and he did a fantastic job!

 Way to go Bandidos!!
