The month of September

I hate to do it again, but I do want life recorded, so you're getting it a month at a time!  The month of September was a good, busy one.  The boys are adjusting well to being back in school and we've survived the first month of Jr. High!!
They were so excited (as you can see) to get going back again!!
We did celebrate Ben's birthday the first day of school with Aunt Nicole after karate.
We celebrated Labor Day by sleeping on the Tramp...briefly.  Before too long, the neighbors sprinklers came on.  We took it for a little while, but eventually were getting pretty wet, so we headed in to our beds!
I wasn't going to sleep out with them, but they talked me into it :) The flash was pretty bright in the dark!
Micah has started soccer and is playing for his dad's team again, and practicing with a plus league.  I think this year they are the jack-o-lanterns.
So far their funnest game was a rain out that they played parents vs. kids.  Everyone had a great time.

I got to watch my brother take off and rock the Peach Days 10K.  My knee is still bothering me, so I was thrilled to be able to just finish the thing.  He did awesome and it was fun to see his progress as he trained throughout the summer.  It was also fun to run the streets of Brigham City again!!  Nice Work Bri!
We've watched, Jake's played, a fair amount of baseball.  His team, the Bandidos, have had a great season.  They went .500, which for comp baseball is pretty good.  Jacob has enjoyed pitching (still love watching him pitch!) and playing short stop. One tournament he went 9 for 10 at the plate which was really fun. But I think most of all, he has enjoyed hanging out with his team.  They are a great bunch of kids and coaches.  We have been very pleased with his season.
And I have to brag about a particularly dirty, rainy day when I was able to get Jake's pants clean.  The simple victories of motherhood!

Ben got to participate in a Constitution Days Field Trip (I got to accompany them as Chaperone)
And Phil organized another great pack meeting/bike rally.
All in all, a great month.
